We have reached the Top 10 on the countdown to the most prestigious honor in baseball, the kings of threads. If you need to back track, use these links to review #30-#16 and #15-#11. You should know by now what the criteria is for this, and how less is more! WE MOVE FORWARD:
10. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of California of the United States

- Best: Home Whites
- Worst: Alt Reds
The Angels are the firs team to appear with less that four uniform options, which is why they have cracked the Top 10. They have a nice, classic, and simple lineup. The only real gripe I can justify is I wish the greys had the location rather than the team name on them, but it would be had to fit Los Angeles/Anaheim on one line. So I understand. (I know they are just the LA Angels now, but I can still have fun.)
9. Philadelphia Phillies

- Best: Alt 1 Powder Blues
- Worst: Alt 3 Reds
Coming in at 9 is the most glorious powder blue display of them all, and the rest of the Philadelphia lineup. I love the Phillies look. It is timeless. The pinstripes at home, the unique numbers on the sleeve. The Phillies were robbed of a Top 5 finish by their Alt 3 Reds. Those belong in spring training, not to be worn after March. But thank you, Philadelphia, for leading the way otherwise.
8. St. Louis Cardinals

- Best: Alt 2 Powder Blues
- Worst: Alt 1 Creams
Boring, but classic. A unique logo, great socks, a powder blue alternate. It’s really hard to say nice things about the Cardinals. I don’t want to say much more. You did it, congrats.
7. Cincinnati Reds

- Best: Home Whites
- Worst: Alt Reds
The Reds are the oldest franchise in the MLB, and their uniforms might be the most classic. They have ditched the black and the vests and they have THREE options. The Homes are classic, the Roads are grey and spell out the city name, and the Alternates are simple. I also don’t mind the old school logo on the socks. Well deserving of a #7 spot right here.
6. Toronto Blue Jays

- Best: Alt 2 Powder Blues
- Worst: Alt 1 Blues
The best uniform change in sports was made by the Toronto Blue Jays when they decided to return the their old look. The greatest addition all time was when they gave us powder blues back. The lineup here is what I said I would allow: Home whites, Road greys, a throwback, and an alternate. And they are CONSISTENT. I love this look so much. Never change again Toronto, these are beautiful.
The Top 5 will be released tomorrow morning, and you will NOT want to miss who claims the top spot. I can promise you it is not who you think it is!
